Fact Family Freebie

In our classroom last week, we started learning facts families. My kids love using the dry erase markers so I came up with a sheet for them to do extra pracitce. Here is a freebie for you. We use clear sheet protectors to write on with this sheet. They are very cheap. Who does not love that? I gave each students 2 dice squares. They roll one and put it in the DICE square. Roll the other and put it in the other DICE square. Then they will fill in there roof top of their house and add it up. Then, add and subtract there fact family. Hope you can use this Freebie:

I used  dice that I bought at the Dollar Tree.   A Teacher's Favorite Place.

LiveBinders Teacher Resource

At our last staff development, we had a lady come and share with us some common core websites and resources. I wanted to share one with you that I have fallen in love with that I didn't even know was out there. It is a site called LiveBinders. When you get on the site, click on educational and it will show you about 1,000 binders that teachers/or administrators have fix up for their classroom or school. It gives alot of math and reading resources and games that you can use. A very useful website for teachers. Please go and check is out when you get a chance.

Yeah!!! It's Friday! As spring break draws near, I get spring fever. Spring is in the air and in my classroom. I believe it is that time of year when everyone starts getting a little crazy and even the good kids start getting to me. They are ready for a break and so am I. So to make it through the next few days, I thought I would post something funny for us to laugh at. Have you heard any good redneck jokes lately? Well these are for teachers:
How You Know You're A Teacher.....

1. You think caffine should be available in intravenous form.
2. You believe in the aerial spray of Ritalin.
3. You can eat a mutli-course meal in 15 minutes.
4. You've trained yourself to go to the bathroom at 2 distinct times of the    day, lunch and planning period.
5. You start saving people's trash, because most likely, you can use that toliet paper tube or cool whip bowl for something in your classroom.
6. You know there is a full moon without even looking outside.
7. You believe chocolate is a food group.

Hope you had a good laugh and send this to a fellow teacher who needs one too.
