OI and OY

Little Oinkers!!!

This past week, our Spelling words consisted of words that  had the OI and OY sound. To go along with the lesson, we did a craft with the sound. We were a bunch of little OINKERS!! My fellow teacher gave me this idea. She bought cups from Dollar General and used some yarn to tie them on their heads. They also wrote oi and oy words with a marker on the cup. They loved it.

 

We also sang  the oi/oy song from the Heidi's Song CD. If you have not checked her out, here is the link. She is awesome. I have alot of her products. The kids loved it and we had to sing it everyday.
