New Years Classroom Activities for kids

It's almost time to count down to a new year. Hope everyone is getting ready. I like to have something ready to go for my little firsties when we go back to school to celebrate the new year. So every year, we have our own New Year's party to let the kiddos enjoy and we sit down and make our own resolutions out for the up coming year. Here is a freebie that I made for my kiddos, and I would love to share it with you!!! Click on picture for freebie.
Here is another cute idea that I do every year. I make a patch of cupcakes and put a cute straw in the middle of the cupcake. I then take a donut hole and place it on the top of the straw. The kids slide their donut hole down the straw to resemble the ball dropping. They love it. ( this is not my picture, these pics came from pinterest because I couldn't find my pics from last year- bummer!!)

Here is another cute idea that you could do, how cute and cheap!! Words to my ears!!!!  I love how you take the simple blower and make it a part of the pack.  The kids will be ready to THORW AND BLOW!!!! - LOL!!!  P.S- your janitor will love you for this one- Get ready Mr. Glynn!!
I had to save the best for last. How cute is this.   I haven't done this idea yet, but I can't wait to try it. Here is another way to use that Christmas tree before you take it down. I always leave mine up until New Years anyway. Now you can decorate it with New Years decorations and balloons. Have your kiddos pop a balloon on every hour counting down to the New Year. LOVE IT!!!!! My kids at home are going to have a ball with this idea!!!! Thank you pinterest. I'll have to share pics of this!!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful and joyous New Year and the rest of your holiday break!!!!!
