Fall Leaf Graphing- Freebie

Bar Graphing-Trying to come up with hands on activities for graphing can be challenging- So try something different-Leaf graphing is so much fun for our 1st and 2nd graders. The kiddos bring a zip lock bag full of different colored fall leaves they collect from their yard, park, or anywhere they can and we graph them and display in the room. Sometimes we even do leaf rubbings if we have time. Such a fun activity and helps to get the kids active and enjoying the outdoors. One year we walked around the school and picked up leaves as a group with our zip lock bags- This year they just brought them in  last week and we had fun today sorting and graphing the diffferent colored leaves.
Super easy quick fun idea to help with graphing and sorting!!
